James is beginning to set out as a creative choreographer alongside being a performer. He is beginning to work with performers to create content to share with the industry, mainly through his Instagram account (@jamesworthingtoncreative). One of his most recent works was 'Billie Jean', featuring dancers Lizzie Pitt, Lexi Finch and Leah Barker.

In 2023, he was Assistant Choreographer for Mirage Shows & Productions for the Fred Olsen ‘Fleet In Funchal’ performance in November 2023. He worked alongside fellow choreographers, Bethany Smart and Molly Fairclough, to produce a performance for all the show teams across the Fred Olsen fleet.

During his last contract on board Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, James created a mini-show/cabaret for the enjoyment of guests. Being Company Manager, he set himself the goal to find an event which can aid bar revenue in the lounges, and in turn his vision came to life... The Balmoral Jazz Club. This is a 30 minute show including 4 vocalists and 4 dancers. It utilises an array of different jazz music in an up close and personal, almost immersive, setting. Also, James has choreographed a  30-minute Tap Dancing show, performing with his colleague Madison Lyon. This 'TAP-aret', was also performed on board Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, during 2024, and incorporates a wide variety of Tap styles, such as Musical Theatre, Body Percussion and Irish Dancing. The hope is for this show to be eventually expanded and invested in to be able to offer to cruise lines as Guest Entertainers and also to be performed at corporate events. Below is a taste of the show, but for more footage and information, please do not hesitate to contact James.
